This five-day workshop focuses on learning haute couture techniques while exploring the artistry of two great couturiers – Madeliene Vionnet and Cristobal Balenciaga. You will have the opportunity to make a replica of one of their designs and see for yourself why they are considered masters of couture. You may choose from one of seventeen patterns, or you may bring your own pattern. You will learn how to cut and manipulate fabric on the bias and on the straight of grain and take your dressmaking skills to a new level. The class size is small so each person will get plenty of individual attention. The price of the class is $1125 and includes over 35 hours of class instruction, custom fitting, and consultation before and after the class. To hold your spot, a $250 non-refundable deposit it due at the time of registration. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the class start date. The class will be held in Franklin, Tennessee. Upon registration, detailed instructions will be emailed to the student.
